Contact Repairing Pros Spartanburg
One number, one conversation, one technician. Call us, describe what the machine is doing, and we’ll tell you what it sounds like before anyone drives out — then the right parts come with him.
We’re a mobile, in-home service based on Maxwell Circle in Spartanburg. There’s no shop counter and no drop-off. Whatever’s broken stays where it is, and we come to it.
⏰ Open 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM · call early for the best shot at a same-day slot
🔧 In-home service call
🏠 Every job happens in your kitchen or laundry room.
Phone
Calls only — it’s the fastest way to get a technician routed to you, and it lets us load the right parts before we leave.
Hours
8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Evenings covered. Most appliance companies in this market stop at 5, which doesn’t work for shift workers at BMW, the supplier plants or Spartanburg Regional.
Where we’re based
8202 Maxwell Cir
Spartanburg, SC 29303
This is our business base, not a walk-in or drop-off repair shop. We work out of a service vehicle across the county.
☎️ What Happens When You Call
Three Minutes on the Phone Saves a Second Trip
The call isn’t a formality to book a slot. It’s the step that decides which parts ride out on the van — and it’s the single biggest reason most repairs finish on the first visit.
We ask four things
What the machine is doing in plain language, the brand, roughly how old it is, and whether anything changed recently — a storm, a power blip, a new install, a move.
You get a likely range
We narrow it to two or three probable parts and tell you the realistic range for each. We won’t quote a firm number sight-unseen, because nobody honest can.
You get a real arrival window
Not “sometime Tuesday.” A window you can plan around — and a phone call if the route slips, rather than silence.
📋 Before You Dial
Have These Three Things Ready
1. The brand and model number
The model number is what lets us confirm the exact part variant and bring it with us. It’s usually on a sticker in one of these places:
- Refrigerator — inside the fresh-food compartment, on the left wall or ceiling, or behind the crisper drawers
- Washer & dryer — inside the door frame, under the lid, or on the back panel near the top
- Dishwasher — on the inner edge of the door, visible when it’s open
- Range & oven — behind the bottom drawer, on the oven door frame, or on the back panel
- Over-the-range microwave — inside the door frame or behind the vent grille
Can’t find it? Call anyway. It helps, but we’ve never refused a job over a missing sticker.
2. A plain description of the symptom
You don’t need technical words. “It fills but never spins,” “it’s warm on top and frozen on the bottom,” “it clicks three times and stops” — those are more useful to us than a guess at which part failed.
3. Anything that changed
A storm, a tripped breaker, a new dishwasher installed last week, a disposal replaced last month, a move. These reshape the diagnosis more than most people expect.
🧊 Frost buildup
💬 “There’s ice on the back wall” tells us more than “the fridge is broken.”
Three free checks before you spend anything
- The breaker and outlet. We have genuinely found “dead” dryers that were a tripped breaker. Plug something else in to confirm the outlet is live.
- The obvious blockage. Dryer lint screen and outside vent flap; dishwasher filter basket; refrigerator condenser coils.
- The door. A fridge that won’t hold temperature, a washer that won’t start and a dishwasher that won’t run often share one cause — a latch that isn’t catching.
🚨 If It’s Urgent
What to Do Right Now, Before You Call Anyone
Three situations where the first five minutes matter more than the repair.
You smell gas
Don’t troubleshoot it and don’t call us first. Leave the house. Don’t flip switches or use your phone indoors. Call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Once the line is confirmed safe, call us and we’ll handle the appliance side.
Water is coming out
Shut the supply valve behind or under the appliance, then cut power at the breaker if water has reached the base. Mop what you can reach. Subfloor rot and cabinet damage cost far more than the repair — a leak is one of the few faults where waiting a week genuinely raises the bill.
The fridge stopped cooling
Keep the doors shut. A closed refrigerator holds a safe temperature for roughly 4 hours; a full freezer around 48 hours, half-full about 24. Anything perishable above 40°F for more than two hours should be thrown out — don’t taste-test it.
🧭 Straight Talk
When We’re Not the Right Call
Half the value of a phone number is knowing when to dial a different one. These jobs aren’t ours, and we’ll say so rather than take a trip fee to tell you in person.
| Situation | Who you actually need |
|---|---|
| Smell of gas anywhere in the house | Gas utility or 911 — immediately, from outside |
| Breaker trips repeatedly with nothing plugged in | Licensed electrician |
| No hot water anywhere in the house | Plumber or water-heater specialist |
| Supply valve behind the washer won’t shut off | Plumber |
| Whole-house drain backing up, not just the sink | Plumber |
| HVAC not cooling (the house, not the fridge) | HVAC contractor |
| Heavy commercial refrigeration or a full food-service line | Commercial refrigeration company |
| Appliance still under a manufacturer’s first-year coverage | Check the paperwork first — it may be covered |
Everything else — refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, microwaves and disposals — is ours. See all services →
🗺️ Where We’re Based
Maxwell Circle, Spartanburg 29303 — and the Routes We Run
Our base sits off Maxwell Circle in the Maxwell Hills area, on the north side of Spartanburg in 29303 — a few minutes from Westgate Mall, about ten from Morgan Square, and close to the I-85 and I-26 interchange that feeds most of our routes.
We’re on the road all day, which is why the phone is the right way to reach us. From Maxwell Circle we run I-85, I-26, US-29, US-221, SC-9 and Reidville Road daily, so a Boiling Springs call and a Roebuck call on the same afternoon is routine.
Typical reach from our base
| Area | Typical drive |
|---|---|
| Spartanburg city & neighborhoods | 10–15 min |
| Boiling Springs, Valley Falls, Una, Saxon, Arcadia | 10–20 min |
| Roebuck, Moore, Reidville, Startex, Wellford | 15–25 min |
| Duncan, Lyman, Inman, Cowpens, Pacolet | 20–30 min |
| Chesnee, Woodruff, Campobello, Greer, Gaffney | 30–45 min |
| Landrum, Enoree, outlying county | 40–50 min |
Drive times are typical, not promises — I-85 at 5 PM is its own weather system. If we can’t reach you today we say so rather than booking and pushing it.

❓ Contact Questions
Contacting Repairing Pros Spartanburg — FAQs
📞 What’s the best way to reach you?
Call (864) 215-2785. We’re a phone-first service because the conversation does real work — it narrows the fault and decides which parts come with the technician. A form can’t do that.
🏪 Can I visit your Maxwell Circle address?
No — it’s a business base, not a walk-in counter. We don’t accept drop-offs and there’s nobody at a desk during the day, because the work happens in customers’ homes. Call and we’ll come to you.
⏰ What are your hours, and do you work weekends?
8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Those evening hours are deliberate — this county runs on shift work, and a 5 PM cutoff is useless to half the people who need us.
📅 How quickly can someone come out?
Same day when the route allows, otherwise next day. Call early in the morning for the best chance. Longer runs to Landrum, Campobello, Woodruff or Gaffney get scheduled honestly rather than optimistically.
💵 Can you give me a price on the phone?
A realistic range, yes — and that’s genuinely useful. A firm number, no, because the same symptom can be three different repairs. You get the exact price in writing once the machine has been diagnosed in your home, with part, labor and tax listed separately. How our pricing works →
👤 Do I need to be home?
Someone over 18 has to be there to let the technician in, approve the written price and confirm the machine works before he leaves. For rentals we can schedule directly with your tenant.
💳 What payment do you take?
[Cash, check and major credit cards.] Payment is due when the repair is complete and tested — never before, and never as a parts deposit ahead of diagnosis.
🔑 I’m a landlord — can you deal with my tenant directly?
Yes, that’s standard for us. We schedule with the tenant, do the work, and invoice you by property or by unit. Landlord services →
